Thank you so much Wekume you have helped me make the right decision, I found I was pregnant while in my last year to be honest I wanted to abort but Wekume organisation came at campus at the right moment, when they told me that there's a safe chat where I can talk about anything. I downloaded the app then talked to a professional whom i was asking where i can do an abortion from but the counselor told me they don't advise students to abort
she gave me as many reasons and support that i needed and from what we talked about with the counselor i made a decision then talked to my parents and my boyfriend and right now am studying while pregnant and am in my last semester and 6 months pregnant with a happy and positive mind.

I won't say my names but i have had a good experience with the Wekume safe chat, I was having severe genital warts and to be honest i had no one to talk to about my issue and i didn't know which hospital i could go to and the costs to do the tests but when i talked to the Wekume professional, i was educated on the causes of genital warts and how to get treatment and prevention...What made me happy is that i was referred to a hospital where i was worked on in time and received the treatment that i needed...Am now doing well and i highly recovered the Wekume safe chat.

Hey, been having breast pain in my breasts so i wanted to know what causes the pain especially when i was nearing my periods its been a scary experience where i wasn't ready to go for checkups due to fear of the results but luckily I got a chance to interact with a professional through the safe chat who actually advised to go with me for a checkup if am scared and have no one to go with, she also told me that it might be due to hormonal changes since it occurs before my menstrual days, i became brave enough after having a talk with someone went to a hospital that i was referred too and i was screened...My results were normal too, thank you for the safe chat.

"I'm from Namasuba College of Commerce, and I'm grateful for the WeKume app. It connected me with professionals who provided guidance on my body and mental health. The STI and HIV testing service was particularly helpful, allowing me to know my status and take control of my health. I appreciate the app's role in empowering me with knowledge and support."

I have had a good experience with the Wekume safe chat since I was struggling with depression after losing my father, who was paying my tuition. It's been hard getting back on track and my performance has declined, but after talking to the Wekume professional in the SafeChat I was
able to find closure again. I found a job and I feel like now I can pay my tuition as I study. I highly recommend Wekume SafeChat to anyone going through a similar thing.

My experience using the WEKUME mobile app!
Last year in September after getting to know what the WEKUME mobile app can do, I downloaded it and started to use it, and one of the very first thing I did was to set up an appointment for circumcision! Of course, why I had taking so long without being circumcised I feared the process and also my privacy. But when I got to know that through Wekume I can set up an appointment and go to the
health facility knowing that the doctors or the health professionals will be expecting me. That gave me the courage to push for circumcision. And in September of last year I did set up an appointment for circumcision. My appointment came and I had to go to the Kitebi Health Centre. It was on Monday morning when I got to the health center. The health professionals when they got to know my name they knew exactly what I had come to do and they called me to the room where they do the work. And within 15 minutes I was done and they gave me instructions or guidelines of how to take care of myself so that I won't be infected, and within one month after the day of my circumcision I had healed. Thanks to the Wekume mobile app, and to the Wekume team who helped me throughout the process!

My experience using the Wekume safe chat has been the best because I have been having a challenge of having bad odour in my private parts. I was so embarrassed to talk to anyone like friends or family who know me due to fear of being talked about, but since the Wekume team came to our campus it felt like an answered prayer. When I downloaded the app and saw the Wekume safe chat option, I talked to a professional who was so caring and gave me a lot of educational solutions, which I followed. I am now doing better. Thank you team Wekume.
